So mooter and I decided we would like some guest posts here and I told my
coworker (of
Shit Germans Say fame). He created this in commemoration of my various lab shopping follies
Basically I went to the shop with a list of supplies my lab needed. Some one had written "Zellstoff" when they meant I needed to buy paper towels (Papierhandtücher). The clerk gave me some paper thing that was definitely more expensive and also definitely not what we needed. However, it is more absorbant than paper towels and is a big hit! Sometimes it pays to be a clueless American!
But seriously, we welcome further guest posts from Germans and American Expats (or maybe ex-Expats??) who have good ideas. ZDB sucht den Meme-Superstar.
